Coping.

I decided last night that I was going to the laboratory for tests today.  That meant that I had to fast from about 9:00 PM.  I succeeded in doing that.  Next step was to set my alarm.

7:15 AM, the alarm went off and I was like Shit...that was my reaction as I jumped out of bed.  By 7:45 AM, I was at the bus stop.  The bus came at 7:50 AM and at 8:20 AM, me, myself, I was at the laboratory.  By 8:50 AM, I had finished at the laboratory and was at the bus stop heading to campus.  The laboratory and the campus are the same bus route.  Bonus. The whole laboratory deal was 30 minutes including waiting time, which is not bad.  By 9:15 AM, I had bought a coffee and come into the library.  Class is not until 10:00 AM.

My gratitude is to God for making all things possible.  I thank my beloved husband for encouragement and support.  I love him.

The lady at the laboratory was very good and I told her so.

Since I started school, my classes have been in the evening or afternoons.  I did not have morning classes that I have now.  The laboratory work is best done in the morning with the fasting and all.  I therefore had to find a way to cope.  I made it.

It amazing how much a patient has to do.  For example, I had to remember that I have an on coming appointment that needs black work.  I have to fast and go to the laboratory with enough time between the appointment and the laboratory work so that the results can get to the doctor on time.  Then there is the actual going to the lab and getting things done.  Today, I made an accomplishment.

9:52 AM.  Gotta go.
