10:42 AM

I woke up and made the bed.  I walked 4.0 miles burning 77 calories.  Coffee is brewing.  I don't have sugar in the home, we will use honey.

11:13 AM - I have fed the cats food and fresh water.  It is coffee time at the ...'s.

11:45 AM - I cleared the kitchen sink and soaked some more dishes.  Good morning wiki.

2:30 PM - Just got back from class.  We watched three presentations.  All the skits except ours had food, so far.  I am still hoping for a high mark for our group.  I have really enjoyed the cross cultural communication class.  We have not come to a close yet. ...almost there.

4:47 PM - I got to town and photocopied my name change and some paper work to change my name with people like the pharmacy and so on.  I did the photocopies at Monks and mailed the letters.  Thank you Canada for health care.  I am waiting for the care card with the new name to get some lab tests done.  I have a piece of paper, I can use as well.

Today I got some Gentle Iron as the doctor says that I have extremely low iron.  He warned me it would cause constipation and nausea.  That means I could not do it while I was in school, right?  I am already kinda constipated, why do I want to make it worse?  Who needs nausea?  And they want me to do all these without weed.  That is why I did my research last night and decided to try Gentle Iron.

My name was officially changed to ... on November 28, 2013 and 4 months laterz, I am still changing the name in different departments of my life.  School is great because less than five people knew me as ....  They all call me ..., in campus.  It is always a pleasure.

7:49 PM - Food is ready.  I made onion, yellow pepper, ground beef, corn, beans, Italian seasoning, garlic salt and cayenne pepper.  We thank the Creator.

9:09 PM  - We enjoyed dinner.  I took a bath and at 9:00 PM I took my medication so that at 10:00 PM, I can start the iron pill.  They should not be taken together.  An hour before or an hour after.  Thank you Father for organization.  I pray that the iron pill does not cause problems.  That is why I have chosen to take it at night.  We will see how it goes.

Woke up, said my prayers, got ready.

9:58 AM - I fed the cats water and food.

10:56 AM, I made it to campus and printed out the play we are presenting before the class today.  I already know my lines, I just need to know when to enter.  The play carries with it 18% of the whole course.  We worked in a group of five people and I must say everybody has done an awesome job in making this possible.  Now we will rehearse and at 1:00PM, we will present.  May God help us.  Amen.

6:26 PM - We did our part of acting in class and hope to get a good percentage.  I had coffee with my Nigerian friend.  After that I came to town about 5:00 PM and got my medication.  Thank you Jesus for Canada, that I don't pay for my medication.

From there I came home and paid the bills, and wrote a cheque for the rent.  We thank the Lord for providence.

6:29 PM - Time to relax for a bit.

7:46 PM - I just finished a peer review for my group that I was working in.  I did everything right except I put last names as first names and first names as last names.  Oh well!!

7:55 PM - I unloaded the dishwasher.

8:45 PM - I was finally able to walk 4.4 miles burning 165 calories.  Accomplishment.

10:47 AM

I woke up, said my prayers and made the bed.  I am organizing the recycling.

11:19 AM - I took the recycling (cardboards) out.

11:40 AM - I emptied all the garbage bins around the home and took the garbage out.

12:05 PM - Good afternoon blog.  I was able to vacuum both the upstairs and downstairs of our home.  It feels good and I thank the Lord.

12:38 PM I did a tidy of the two side tables in the living room and cleaned out my desk.

12:40 PM - This is the dusting song.

12:57 PM - I finished dusting.  The song really helped.

1:20 PM - I tidied the kitchen to the best of my knowledge.  I wiped the counters and the stove top.

1:48 PM - Just came back from getting groceries especially dish washing soap.  As I was leaving for the store, the new managers of the apartments were next door inspecting.  They did not find me - which is a good thing.  And I had done my job of making the place look presentable.  Thank you Jesus.  Phew, that is over.

2:07 PM - My accomplishment today, was emptying the sink and buying dish soap for the dish washer, so I can run the dish washer, which is running now.  I feel tired and at the same time, I am content.  I am taking a bath.  Laterz.

4:09 PM - I had an hour bath and 1/2 hour on the elliptical machine.  I walked 3.6 miles and burnt 103 calories.  I was taking it easy.

About 4:20 PM - Suddenly, I was woken up by our friend who was visiting. He told me that my beloved husband needed help and that he was calling 911. Beloved husband told me that he had a sharp pain on his back that causes him to feel faint. The paramedics came and took him.

Almost immediately I called the hospital and they asked me to call after 30 minutes. When I called, they told me he was in emergency. I took the bus there and they told me he was in ambulatory section. I found him and now the waiting game begun, and we were together.

When I updated my friend, he said it was mad love. I think it is just doing the right thing. I would be mad not to look for my beloved. He has always been with me during my medical crisis. I was so confused that I did not ask the paramedics if I can go with them. Beloved husband said there were not seats in the ambulance anyway. They did some tests and did not find anything wrong, so we came home. Today is looks fine. Lord have mercy.

I really appreciate my beloved husband. Feel better Baby.

3:46 PM

I woke up at 9:15 AM, said my prayers and got ready for school.  The work that brought me early to class was this group we are doing for a cultural profile.  That took two hours, then class an hour and twenty minutes.

I just finished talking to a class mate after class.  Class was good.

5:44 PM - I have been grocery shopping.  I filled up the cats food supply and gave them fresh water.  I put the groceries away.

6:28 PM - I walked 4.1 miles and burnt 85 calories.  I can say I have formed a habit of exercising during weekdays.

6:36 PM - I wiped down the bath tub, the toilet and the sink.  The bathroom looks good and this is an accomplishment.

6:42 PM - I finally had a chance to make the bed with the cats on it . hehehhee, they are so cute.

It was a fun day.  I don't know where it went.  It is time to relax a bit.  You understand what I am talking about...

I went and bought some stockings for our niece.  She turns 2, on Sunday.  I then booked a hair appointment.  Now I am home with my Baby and the cats.  Muthoni is on my lap as I type.

9:06AM

Woke up and made the bed.  Said my prayers.

9:10 AM - I fed the cats, food and water.

9:39 AM - Good morning blog.  I did wipe down the toilet.

3:59 PM - I am back from school.  I had an assignment to finish for a group meeting.  I was there on time and we wrote our script.  Class went well.  After class I took the bus to down town and went to the mall and bought three pairs of queen size bedsheets.  The last time we got bedsheets, is when my parents in law bought us a bed in 2004, as wedding gift.  They also bought us three pairs of bed sheets which need changing now.  Before then we slept on a twin bed.  Quote the bonding.  I am excited about the whole thing.  My beloved husband will be soo surprised, because even though he knew we were buying sheets, he did not know when.  hehehehe

5:17 AM - I stripped the bed and tried one of the sheets to make sure that they fit.  Then I started two loads of laundry.  One load, of the new bed sheets and the other load of the old bed sheets.  I will give the old bedsheets and some pillow cases to the Salvation army.  Right now, both the loads of laundry are in the dryer.  I am very impressed with the work I have done today.  Thank you Jesus for providence.

One day I heard my mother in law say that she wanted to buy us other bed sheets.  She had bought us the original 3 pairs to come with the bed, that my parents in law gave us as a wedding present.  I wrote her a note today, and said we had bought new bed sheets and it really is a personal affair unless we cannot afford the bed sheets.  I had to let her not to worry about our bed sheets business.

5:37 PM - I took away to the garbage, all the wrappings of the bed sheets.  The sooner garbage gets out the better.  I am listening to Praise 106.5 FM.

5:51 PM - I tidied the kitchen by soaking all the dirty dishes in the sink.  I am feeling organized.

6:28 PM - The old bed sheets were dry.  I have folded them and they are ready for Salvation army.  These are the bed sheets that saw us through a miscarriage.  This is the particular sheets. I had a mental break down after the miscarriage and I recall my beloved husband asking me where we kept extra bed sheets.  Ya, so my baby can change the bloody bed.  I felt for him.  I wished I was not in the institution.  I remembered how badly stained the bed was.  I still remember.  It was 2005/6.  OMG!! Thanks you for perseverance and for my Baby.
7:23 PM.  I cleared the kitchen sink, loaded the dish washer, wiped down the counters and stove top.  Thank you Lord for energy.

7:50 PM.  Some of the new bed sheets were dry, so I made the bed with them.  One corner doesn't fit very well and that is okay.  I tested one pair and it fit.  Anyway, no big deal.  I cannot wait to see when my beloved husband realizes that the bed sheets are new on this first day of spring.
9:16 PM - I walked for half hour, 4 miles and burnt 140 calories.  Day is done, all is well.  Thank you Jesus.

10:38 AM

I woke up and said my prayers.  I came downstairs for a little bit to return a phone call.  Thereafter I walked on the elliptical machine.  I walked 4.2 miles and burnt 124 calories.  I am very happy.  By this time the cats had left the bed and I was able to make the bed.

10:45 AM - Fed the cats food and fresh water.  It seems like an easy chore to do.  Before I started writing my chores, I often forgot to feed the cats.  Now it is engrained, and I did forget them, the one time since starting to write.  It was a weekend, when I don't write here.

My coffee is brewing.

2:32 PM - The laundry room is very busy.  I am going to the balcony to enjoy the sun.  Beer and a joint.  God knows I deserve it.

Tuesday, March 18, 2014

12:19 PM

I woke up and said my prayers as my beloved husband got back to bed.  I fed the cats food and fresh water.  I was not very sure of going on the exercise machine, while my beloved husband was sleeping, and I knew the only way to know if it will wake him up was by doing the exercise.  He did not wake up and I really thank God for noise reduction on the machine.  Let's me know that God is in on it.

I walked 4.9 miles and burnt 153 calories.

12:30 PM - I heard this song on Praise 106.5 as I was exercising.

Monday, March 17, 2014

8:47 AM

Today I woke up around 8:00 AM.  We did go to bed early last night.  I woke up grateful to be alive.  I made the bed and said my prayers.  I fed the cats food and fresh water.  I did a vacuum clean in the downstairs.

8:59 AM - coffee is brewing.  I have unloaded the dishwasher, cleared the sink and reloading the dishwasher.

9:15 AM - I soaked up some more dishes.  It is coffee time at the ...'s.

10:00 AM - I cleared the sink again, wiped off  the counters and the stove top - the dishwasher is ready to go.

10:16 AM - I swept and mopped the kitchen floor.

10:31 AM - I washed the bath tub, toilet, sink and bathroom floor.  Such an accomplished morning.  Because I keep up the house work, it is very easy to clean.  I really thank the Creator for that.

11:13 AM - I finished walking 4.9 miles (best distance yet), burning 106 calories.  I remember burning 150 calories once.  They are just numbers.

The machine is now broken in and the days of noise are behind us.  How my Beloved husband put up with it, I have no clue.  God does answer prayers, it is a non noisy work out.  I also took the garbage out.  Other than the laundry, the home is in order.

11:20 AM - the dishwasher is running.  Good morning blog.

4:46 PM - I am back from school.  Our guest speaker was deaf.  I have been to my former place of work to say hey, and I have done grocery shopping.

7:46 PM - Unloaded the dishwasher.

9:11 PM - Dinner is ready.  I made meat balls with Worcester sauce and cayenne, corn, gravy and stuffing.  Awesome day.  Thank you Jesus.
9:13 PM.  Good night blog.

Did my exercises.  I walked 3.4 miles and burnt 106 calories.  Coffee is brewing at the ...'s.  My beloved husband and I noticed that the exercise machine was quiet compared to since day one when it  made noise which my man persevered. I hope the machine is now broken in.

2:33 PM - I had a student group this meeting and I was 10 minutes late.  Missed by bus by a second. We had the meeting.  Everything is going on very well.  We learned about stereotypes in class.

2:44 PM

Woke up and said my prayers.  I walked on my machine for 1/2 hour, walking 4.2 miles and burning 125 calories.  Coffee is brewing and I fed the cats food and fresh water.  I also watered the plants.

4:50 PM - I have a load of laundry washing.  Accomplishment.

I need to buy new bedsheets for the bed.  The one pair got torn leaving me with two pairs.  If I fail to do laundry on a certain time, I cannot change the bed.  I need at least three pairs of bedsheets to work with.  My beloved husband asked me to buy 4 pairs, to be on the safe side.  That is something on my to do list.

Those old bedsheets served us for nine years.  I will give them a good wash and give them to Salvation Army.  I am sure somebody will be glad to have them.
