Cleanliness is very important in matters concerning health.
I know Ted and Gayle do a spring cleaning every year at the club. Carpets, lights... I must have missed the one this year. Gayle does the real carpet cleaning. Big machine and everything. Gosh! They each know what to do but I like to help out. I am learning.
That is why I appreciate Gayler so much for she earns her pay and does many extra hours. No one and no one can stop this Diva with a D. I am in awe of you Gal...
The reason I am talking about cleanliness, is that today I spent the time cleaning the kitchen. This is after cleaning the inside and outside of the cupboards the other day. Something has changed in me.
As a kid I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned...hoi. Then I came to Canada and I cleaned for a living. Was a step forward from survival prostitution. Needless to say, cleaning became a chore. But something has changed and I don't mind cleaning. Be it here or there. Don't get me wrong. I was at the time of sex trade attending secretarial college and I worked as a secretary for three years thereafter...no social services in that country Kenya even to date. God forsaken country...
Since I stopped worrying about immigration, I have had the energy to do other things. And since I got over that obsession of 22 years. Did you hear about that? I was obsessed with a guy for 22 years. From 1987 - 2009. I had to take counseling classes before I got married and everything. Tough times. Decision making times...all the time I was married I was obsessed and my husband knew it.
He said that he gave the other guy a chance because he knew the other guy had no chance. What a pal?
Anyway, since I have been cleansing my mind, body and soul, I have had time to do other things. Again don't get me wrong. I have the odd alcoholic drink. That and medicine - pot and drugs from the doctors. No end to it.
I am off to dinner with my beloved.
I will post some photos of before and after. I could post the photos today but I have sprayed the stove, inside. I have to finish that tomorrow. I think I do well for a girl who grew up with three stones for a stove...
I am committed to health.
I will do the few dishes tonight. My excuse to have a bisc buddy or two. Laughing
I have heard that cleanliness is next to Godliness. I'll try anything once!
